Sudbury Community Foundation Calls for Stage 1 Project Grant Proposals

Sudbury, Ontario. January 21, 2014 – The Sudbury Community Foundation is presently accepting Stage 1 project grant applications. The deadline for Stage 1 applications is March 1st 2014. This call for Grant Proposals is open to all registered charities and qualified not-for-profit organizations in the Sudbury area as defined under the Income Tax Act.

The Sudbury Community Foundation is a public foundation that gives out project grants to a broad range of local charities, including those serving the arts, environment, recreation, children and youth, social services, health, seniors, the homeless, and education.

The Foundation holds over $2.8 million in assets. Since the inception of its grants program, the Foundation has distributed more than $507,927 in grants to the Sudbury community.

This year, project funds are available for the following:

  • Children’s and children’s wish projects

  • Environment projects

  • Arts & culture projects

  • Health & recreation projects

  • Community projects

La Fondation communautaire de Sudbury inaugure la première étape du processus de demandes de subvention

 

Sudbury (Ontario), le 21 janvier 2014 – La Fondation communautaire de Sudbury reçoit actuellement des candidatures pour la première étape des demandes de subvention de projets.

La date d’échéance pour soumettre sa candidature est le 1er mars 2014. Cet appel à candidatures pour une subvention est ouvert à tous les organismes à but non lucratif et de bienfaisance enregistrés de la région de Sudbury, tels que définis par la Loi sur l’impôt sur le revenu.

La Fondation communautaire de Sudbury est une fondation publique qui distribue des subventions de projets à une vaste gamme d’organismes de bienfaisance locaux, dont ceux dédiés aux arts, à l’environnement, aux loisirs, à l’enfance et à la jeunesse, aux services sociaux, à la santé, aux aînés, aux sans-abri et à l’éducation.

La Fondation possède des actifs de 2,8 millions $. Depuis la création de son programme de subventions, elle a remis plus de 507 927 $ en subventions à la communauté sudburoise.

Cette année, les fonds sont disponibles pour tout type de projet dédié à ce qui suit :

  • Les projets pour enfants ou souhaits de l’enfant

  • Les projets pour l’environnement

  • Les projets d’arts et de culture

  • Les projets de santé et loisirs

  • Les projets communautaires
