Three talented piano majors at Laurentian University (Nathan Nykor, Laura Boyle and Helena Cheu) will perform works by Beethoven, Poulenc, and Chopin. The concert is called "Threesome: Awkward Encounters" because the pianists will perform a piece by Debussy on one piano, with four hands, but played by all three of them. It promises to be entertaining.
Threesome: Awkward Encounters Piano Recital is on March 18th, 7 pm, at St. Andrew's Place. Admission is free.
The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op is creating independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media. Contact the Sudbury Working Group at firstname.lastname@example.org or follow us on Facebook.
