On Sunday, September 21st, just days before a landmark climate summit at the UN, Avaaz members around the world are taking part in a People's Climate March.

In Sudbury, we will gather at the Bridge of Nations (Paris Street Bridge) to deliver our petition and show our leaders that climate change matters to all of us. Join us from 12 PM at the Market downtown (VIA Rail Station) to design your green heart t-shirt, pick up banners, and hear from the world's largest climate march in New York. At 1:30 PM, we will march to the Bridge of Nations to show our solidarity with the global movement, and take photos to be shared by Avaaz at the UN climate summit.

See you out there!

About the Sudbury Working Group

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
