SUDBURY – Come and participate in downtown Sudbury’s inaugural art crawl on Thursday, March 20 from 5-8 p.m. Cambrian College’s Open Studio will showcase its current exhibit on Mail Art, a grassroots movement supported by artists and artisans from across the globe, which focuses on anti-commercial aesthetics. If you can mail it, you can submit it for exhibition. During the art crawl, the public is invited to participate at the Open Studio in do-it-yourself crafting, including buttons, badges, collages and drawings. Refreshments will be served.

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
