Press Release
What do YOU most want to ask candidates in the upcoming municipal election?
Submit your Good Green Questions for the municipal election 2014
For Immediate Release
Sudbury, June 30, 2014 – Good Green Questions is back! We want to know which questions you would like to ask your candidates in the upcoming municipal election on October 27, 2014.
Tell us which questions you have for your candidates in the upcoming municipal election in October. What do you want to ask the future mayor and councillors of Greater Sudbury? What do you need to know to make your choice on voting day?
We are gathering your questions.
The overarching theme is a green, healthy and engaged community.
Pose YOUR question:
- find our on-line survey at liveablesudbury.org
- or join our Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/100502426668787/
Link directly to the survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KMBLQWT
Please submit your questions by July 31. Citizens will then be able to vote on what questions are most important to them, and the top questions will be given to candidates in a written survey, and at a Town Hall in the fall.
In the summer of 2010 citizens gathered online and worked together to formulate questions that they would like to see candidates answer at a packed Good Green Town Hall. It’s time to do it again!
Citizens and all candidates: watch for the date of the Town Hall to be announced mid July, hosted by Citizens Climate Lobby Sudbury, and Coaltion for a Liveable Sudbury.

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
