You can join us for our June activity this Sunday, June 14, 1:00 p.m. at the bottom of Kingsmount Boulevard (Kingsmount Boulevard and Wellington Heights, near the pedestrian bridge). We will be helping Friends of the Roxborough Greenbelt add mulch to trails, remove invasive species along Junction Creek, and other trail and stewardship work.
The Earth Crew started out this May, helping the Ste. Anne Community Garden with their spring clean-up. Families joined us in making some fun Earth Crew buttons – we’ve saved you some!
The Earth Crew will add helping hands to a variety of outdoor activities year round.
“People are excited to come out with their friends and family, enjoy the outdoors, and make a positive difference,” says Naomi Grant of Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury. “The Earth Crew is a way for people to get outside, have fun, and contribute to their community in all seasons.”

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
