EVENT NOTICE: 2015 Opening Doors Conference

The 2015 Northeastern Ontario HIV/AIDS Conference is taking place on September 30th and October 1st.  We will have many panelists presenting on various topics at the event, including:
 

o   Dr. Darrell Tan  on pre and post-exposure prophylaxis

o   HIV and aging issues

o   Harm Reduction in the correctional system

o   Housing solutions for  PHA's and people living with addictions

o   HIV 202: Universal precautions when working with a PHA in care

o   HEP C 

o   and more........

 

The Conference Fee is $75.00 (for both days) and $35.00 for Students.  Limited scholarships are available for PHAs who wish to attend. Register early! 

For your convenience, there are two ways to register this year: online or by mail/fax.

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
