April 19, 2016 – You are invited to the Sudbury Cyclists Union AGM, Wednesday, April 27, 7 p.m., at St. Andrews Place (111 Larch).   Come share in the joy of all things cycling with special guest speaker Ursula Sauvé who will present “50 years of Cycling Fun.”  Cycling has played an important role throughout her life from commuting to school, for fun and fitness while raising a young family, for friendship, for relaxation, for endurance testing and for sightseeing and travel.  Ursula Sauvé is the President of Rainbow Routes, a member of the Cycling Grannies, and is well known for her contributions to the community, such as the Bridge of Nations.  Come and hear how your bike can be a friend for life.

Join in the discussion of moving cycling forward in Greater Sudbury.  Hear about what the Sudbury Cyclists Union has accomplished this past year, and talk about next steps.  Share why cycling is important to you, and what you’d like to see when it comes to cycling in our City.  Enjoy some refreshments and connect with other cyclists of all ages and abilities.

About the Sudbury Working Group

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
