Saturday, June 20: March to Repeal Bill C-51
Time: 1pm
Location: Starting from the Rainbow Centre Mall in downtown Sudbury
This will be a March For Freedom and a demand to Repeal Bill C51.
Despite the fact that Bill C51 passed the Senate vote, we remain in opposition to a government who clearly has decided it is no longer "for the people". We continue to oppose a police state Canada based on fear and intimidation, and continue to gather in Unity and Defiance. Together , united across Canada we gather once again to say "NO !! to Harper's Police State" !!! Thank you all for your support, whether veterans of the C51 Opposition movement, or new... We welcome you in Unity and Solidarity !! Thank you for risking your rights to protect the rights of ALL Canadians !!
We will gather at the Rainbow Centre ... from there we will march up to Lone st and loop back back down to Elgin st. We will march down Elgin to the Samaritan Centre and then to Paris st. From Paris st, we will march back to the rainbow centre.

The site for the Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op has been archived and will no longer be updated. Please visit the main Media Co-op website to learn more about the organization.
The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
