If you have ever been stymied by a grant application or intimidated by directly asking a prospective donor for money please read on.
Fundraisers and ‘could be’ fundraisers, summer is drawing to a close and it is time to think about generating some revenue for your favourite charitable organization. To get you warmed up we are presenting two dynamic fundraising workshops that you won't want to miss! In these sessions you will learn the essentials of asking for money and grant writing.
Because when it comes right down to it you do have to ask, The Perfect Pitch workshop on September 18th is perfect for board, volunteers and staff who want to learn the most effective way to ask for a donation. And, on September 19th, the Basics of Grant Writing workshop is ideal for those new to grant writing or just needing a little inspiration.
Both sessions will be held at the South End Library in Sudbury from 11am to 3pm and are hosted by Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer. Bring your lunch!
