Cambrian College’s Animation Program and the Open Studio host Comic Jam
A Comic Jam is a creative process during which artists improvise and collaborate on comic pages and/or panels. It’s also a great way to meet fellow artists and community members, in order to network and to swap creative ideas. The jam is free and open to all. We'll provide the paper and refreshments, but you provide pencils, markers or your other favourite drawing materials.
Drawing contributions will be held in safe keeping, and at some point published online and possibly in print. All participants will be acknowledged. For more information, please go to the Comic Jam Facebook event page.
Date: Thursday, March 13, 2014

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
