Cambrian College Women’s Resource Centre organizing clothing drive for students starting out

Looking professional often helps new graduates feel more confident during the interview process and in new work environments.

The Cambrian College campus community and the public are invited to drop off gently-used, clean professional clothing for the Cambrian Women’s Resource Centre clothing drive (rm. 2431, near the gym; if the Centre is closed, please leave bagged clothes outside the door). Donations will be accepted until April 8.

On April 10, students graduating, going on placement or embarking on new careers are invited to peruse donations of clothing, accessories, shoes and bags.

Date:                     Viewing takes place on April 10, 2014

Time:                    8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location:             Gym foyer, Cambrian College, Barrydowne campus

About the Sudbury Working Group

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
