MEDIA RELEASE Rainbow Routes Association May Hike Club

Blog posts reflect the views of their authors.
Join Rainbow Routes on Saturday, May 3 for a Jane’s Walk tour of the downtown. Jane’s Walk is an
international event held to encourage people to explore their city and connect with their neighbours.
These locally led walking tours are inspired by Jane Jacobs (1919 - 2006), an urbanist and activist whose writing championed a fresh, community-based approach to city building.

Please meet at the north-west parking lot at York and Paris St across from Bell Park at 9:45 am for
instructions and to sign waivers.

After the hike, please join us at the Townehouse Tavern (206 Elgin) for lunch.
Hikes will run in all but the worst of weather, so be prepared with proper footwear and clothing for all
conditions.

For more information, visit www.rainbowroutes.com or call 705-674-4455 ext. 2474.

About the Sudbury Working Group

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
