in Flux – A Grad Show Exhibition by Cambrian College’s Design and Visual Arts Students
SUDBURY - Cambrian College’s Design and Visual Arts students are hosting a grad show exhibition called “in FLUX” at Cambrian College’s Open Studio on Cedar Street. The exhibition, which opens Thursday April 2, features the work of Makaila Alloway, Amélie Bourget, Caitlin LaFrance, Shannon McKinnon, Matt Sutcliffe, and Sam Vaillancourt.
In creating the two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces for the
"in FLUX" exhibition, the students used a variety of media work, including digital and traditional illustration, painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media.
This exhibit will showcase the work that each student produced based on his or her specific style and interest in art and design. The students worked closely with mentors who provided guidance and taught them specific techniques that helped advance their skills during their second and graduating year.

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
