Let’s do the Time Warp again… with a Halloween fundraiser
film screening in support of Myths and Mirrors Community Arts
Sudbury, ON – The Rocky Horror Picture Show returns to Sudbury for a special Halloween film screening on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at 8pm at Theatre Cambrian (40 Eyre St. S.). All proceeds help support Myths and Mirrors Community Arts in offering exceptional, inclusive art experiences throughout our community.
Presented in partnership with SB Tuesdays, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic and Halloween favourite. Costumes are strongly encouraged and each ticket includes an audience participation kit with toast, rice, confetti, and more for a complete Rocky Horror experience.
“This is the ultimate participation movie event. The catchy songs and quirky dialogue scream for audiences to react. Whether you’re throwing confetti, shouting retorts, or doing the time warp in the aisles, this movie event is definitely a Halloween treat!” says Chantal Larochelle, Myths and Mirrors’ board member and co-founder of SB Tuesdays.
Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased at Cosmic Dave’s Vinyl Emporium, Fromagerie Elgin, Mighty Canadian Doughnuts, and Village International. Tickets will also be available at the door for $20.
This is the first time The Rocky Horror Picture Show has screened in Sudbury since 2012 so you won’t want to miss this special event.

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
