MEDIA RELEASE:

Rainbow Routes Association  Annual General Meeting

The Rainbow Routes Association invites the general public and all trail users to its 2016 Annual General Meeting.

Following a short presentation on recent accomplishments and 2017 objectives, we’ll be welcoming Dr. Stephen Ritchie, Associate Professor in the School ofHuman Kinetics at Laurentian University.

Stephen will be sharing his knowledge on a key emerging topic: Health and Wellbeing in Outdoor Environments. Most of us are aware of the relationship between our physical, mental and social health and spending time outdoors, but how much do we really know about this? Here is your free chance to deepen your knowledge on this topic from an industry professional.

Event starts at 7:00pm - Tuesday, November 22nd, at St. Andrew’s Place - 111 Larch Street, Laurentian University McEwen School of Architecture room.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Arrive early to mingle with Rainbow Routes Association staff and board members.

About the Sudbury Working Group

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
