Sudburians, Northerners & all others are invited to a celebration on March 20th in Unceded Anishinaabe territory!
We will march to the Banks to bring attention to the CENTRAL BANKS/FRACTIONAL RESERVE BANKING SYSTEM(PONZI SCHEME BANK) & what some call Banksters. Then to City Hall, which houses the Corporation of Sudbury's Executive Board(COUNCIL). Ask Ombudsman Marin what he thinks of our CORPORATE COUNCIL.
Isn't it strange that most people acknowledge that the ethics of corporations like corporate personhood are wrong and have no place in public office? Well, every municipality is a corporation, with all the ethics that come along with it. Notice all of the high profile Municipal scandals of late?
Idle No More started in opposition to federal legislation that ignored Aboriginal Title and Treaty Rights & stripped Canada of any meaningful regulation/oversight over our collective waterways.
To this date, there has been no move to repeal or amend Bill C-45, Bill C-38, or any of the other related Aboriginal Title & Treaty termination legislation.
Controlled negotiations through federal, provincial, or municipal levels of government are painfully slow - this is intentional. It is to force ideas/practices down the throat of the public, control the backlash, and wait until the voice of public resistance fades.
The people who share in living on Turtle Island must continue the fight against dictatorship in Ottawa, Washington & within the Canadian & American Nation-States. We must continue this resistance - in every possible form, including taking our voice to the streets!

The site for the Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op has been archived and will no longer be updated. Please visit the main Media Co-op website to learn more about the organization.
The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
