Your Questions Answered

Science North Cavern

Thursday, May 16, 7pm to 9pm

Sudbury is water rich - lakes, streams and rivers, but many are in danger and time is running out to protect our most valuable natural resources. What are the threats and what can you do to keep our water sources healthy for recreational and practical uses such as drinking water?

At this special meeting you will hear from several scientists who will give expert opinion as to the present situation with respect to our water resources and to suggest future action. You will be given the opportunity to ask quesitons and provide input on this important topic which is of great concern to all citizens.

Presented by the Greater Sudbury Watershed Alliance in conjunciton with Science North and Community Partners.

About the Sudbury Working Group

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
