Sunday, July 14

Church Service
Location: St Peters United Church, York Street
Time: 10:30am-12:00pm
St. Peters united church has recently been welcomed as an Affirming Congregation and is now spreading the word that they are LGBT2-SQQ allies. They would like to invite you to join them for regular worship Sunday morning. Rev. Gerry Copeman will be leading the service. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Monday, July 15

Dinner and Auction
Location: Respect is Burning Supperclub
Time: 6:30pm-10pm
Good food, good friends and a great reason to celebrate! It’s Fierté Sudbury Pride’s dinner and auction at Respect Is Burning Supperclub. Join us up on the second floor for an evening of mouth-watering Italian food and bid on some amazing items in our Silent Auction. Tickets are $25 per person and includes a full 3 course meal.  Many thanks to Respect Is Burning Supperclub for hosting our community for this great evening!

Go-Karting
Location:  Sudbury Kartways 824 Notre Dame Ave
Time: 3pm-7pm
Get your kart on! Put on your racing shoes and grab your competitive spirit and come on out to Sudbury Kartways for some good old fashioned go-kart racing! Grab some friends and wave the Pride flag alongside the checkered flag of the raceway. Who will be named the fastest kart of Pride week 2013??? (Prizes include bragging rights only.)  For the cost of $15 get 5 laps on the Track and a one circuit of the golf course!

Minor Monday
Location: Zigs
Time: 8pm-11:30pm
RAINBOW PARTY for MINORS ONLY!  Star Light, Star Bright, Celebrate every colour of the rainbow under the big black light!  Glow in the dark, neon night!  Paint yourself in glow in the dark paint and showcase under a black light!  Wear white and neon and all things bright!  Celebrate and party it up right! Paint and Glow items for sale!  Absolutely no drugs or alcohol permitted!
Must be 18 and under and parents are welcome!
Open 8 to 11:30 pm don’t wait too late or you may just get stuck at the gate!

Tuesday, July 16

Open Mic Night
Location: Fromagerie Elgin, 5 Cedar St
Time 7:30pm-10pm
Grab your guitar, your banjo, your keyboard, your fiddle or whatever you have that makes beautiful music and head downtown for Fierté Sudbury Pride’s annual Open Mic Night at the Fromagerie Elgin. This will be an all-ages event and we’ll try to get as many of you up on the stage as possible!

Dirty Bingo
Location: Zigs
Time: 8pm
Its not your average bingo, but a classic game with a naughty twist.. Cum one, cum all and bring your dabber too. If you have a fun and kinky side, well this game is definitely for you!  Dirty innuendo and sex toys too!
Free Admission $2/card or 3 for $5. Win your favourite sex toys!
Nobody goes home alone or empty handed shall we say!! If you’re unlucky at the game you may purchase toys too! Pride merchandise will be available for purchase!

Wednesday, July 17

Our Community Conference
Location: Sudbury Secondary School
Time: 1pm-5pm
This conference will feature speakers from TG Innerselves, Laurel O’Gorman, Ralph Johnston and many more. We will be discussing everything from the use of the word queer to transgender issues. More details on speakers will be released on our website www.sudburypride.com as we get closer to the event. This is a free all ages event. We will also have child care available.

K-ottick Karaoke  Kontest
Location Zigs
Time: 10pm-close
KARAOKE is Your Chance to Win Cash!
You may sing absolutely any song you want!
Our new digital karaoke system has any song released before July 1st! No duplicates so get here early to reserve your song before the good ones are gone!  Our panel of judges will decide if you move on or get the GONG! Only 3 contestants will perform in the final round where you can win the crown of karaoke and cash. You must enter by 11 pm. Free Entry
1st =$100, 2nd = $75, 3rd = $50.

Movie Night With Réseau Access Network
Location: Rainbow Cinemas
Time 6pm-10pm
Join Réseau ACCESS Network at Rainbow Cinema for a free screening of the movie “GEN Silent”.  Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender older people who fought the first battles for equality now face so much fear of discrimination, bullying and abuse that many are hiding their lives to survive.

Pride Hike
Location: Laurentian University
Time: 2pm-5pm
Time to find your leashes, dust off your strollers and slather on the sunscreen! Fierte Sudbury Pride is going hiking! This easy trail is a short 1/2 kilometer hike on well maintained gravel pathways. Our guide, Stephanie Larstone, will be teaching us about the local vegetation and wild life. See the map below for mustering points.  This event is near a bus stop —  just take the Laurentian University bus and head to the track by the Physical Education building near parking lot 13. We will muster in the parking lot.

**Please note that this event is weather dependant**
Rain Date is July 18 at Moonlight beach beginning at 1 pm.

Foam-o-Fiasco
Location: Zigs
Time: 10pm-2pm
FOAM O FIASCO PARTY!! We put the “suds" back in Sudbury!! That’s right! We fill the place with Foam, Fun and Water Guns! It’s a huge bubble bath without the water!  Everything is slippery when wet, so be ready to get soaking wet. Bring your water gun and a bathing suit! Maybe a Ziploc bag to protect your loot!  $5 at the door.. Water Guns for sale! Zigs is Sudbury’s Pride Party Headquarters for the 19+ crowd!

Fun in the Sun with Sudbury Pride
Location: Bell Park
Time: 12pm-5pm
Line up your beach towels, grab your sunscreen and your best beach hat! Today we celebrate in the sun!  Join us out at Bell Park for some nice, relaxing casual fun in the sun!  There might even be some beach volleyball for those who like a little bit more action in their beach time!  This event will be weather-permitting of course.

Ladies Best Ball Golf Tourney - Sudbury Pride
Location: Pine Grove Golf Course
Time: 12pm-5pm
RBC and Reseau Access AIDS Network are sponsoring this annual event. Our host this year is acclaimed comedian Dawn Whitwell.  $75 per person - team of 4 - ladies best ball.  With registration you get 9 holes, a cart, prizes galore, dinner and a chance at $10,000!  Spots are limited so please contact Sarah Lashbrook at golf.sudburypride@gmail.com.

Love is my Label Variety Show

LOVE IS MY LABEL- A VARIETY SHOW at ZIGS  Always a crowd favourite!  A hand selected group of extremely multi-talented local stars..  A lot of preparation and dedication go into each of these acts!  Rappers, Dancers, Singers, Musicians, Kings, Queens and more!  Come show your support for what promises to be an extremely fun-filled night! Admission is free,  show starts at 10pm.  This is a talent show and competition for cash.  Come cheer your favourite!

SnoBears Picnic
Location Delki Dozzi Park
Time: 4:30pm-7pm
SnoBears will be holding a Family and Friends BBQ Saturday July 20th at Delki Dozi from 5pm to 7pm, everyone welcome. Friendship and socialization at 3pm. The meal plan has changed to a choice of BBQ Chicken Breast or BBQ pork chops, or vegetarian dish, including salad and corn on the cob. All for $15.00 dollars. Non Alcoholic refreshments for sale. There is a limited amount of tickets so if your interested in attending contact Dallas Bushie at dallas59@persona.ca for more information.

Youth Dance
Location: Jubilee Centre

Sponsored by the Art Council of Sudbury and the The Jubilee centre of Sudbury.  This event will feature a DJ, pizza from Fat Tuesdays, swag, glow sticks and a raffle. Cover is $2.

Let your Pride flag fly! Join us for the flagship event of the Fierté Sudbury Pride week 2013!!! All are welcome to join in this celebration of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Two Spirited, Questioning and Allies community!  See the parade route below.  Remember to wear proper footwear. The organizers of this event are not responsible for any injuries.

RBC Tom Reid Day in the Park
Location: Memorial park
Time: 11am-6pm
This event will have a lot of games to play from egg on a spoon to three legged races and more come out and show your True Colors.

Closing Ceremonies
Location: Tom Davies Square
Time: 6pm
Tonight we wrap up Fierté Sudbury Pride week for another year! Join us for some closing remarks and watch as we lower the flag until this time 2014!  Happy Pride!!!
