Donate/Volunteer to Support Labour Day Celebrations
Planning for this year’s Labour Day at Bell Park is being centralized through the Sudbury and District Labour Council!
We are respectfully encouraging your local to donate to our Labour Day celebration. Your support will allow us to have games, vendors, entertainment and more during the celebration.
To help us budget for this year’s event, please let us know your intent to donate by Friday July 10, 2015.
Donations must be submitted by cheque made payable to the Sudbury & District Labour Council.
The request is to be as generous as you can afford to be. We want to build in the success in the past at Bell Park. The amount of money we collect will determine what will be possible this Labour Day.
We are also looking for volunteers to help throughout the day. If you are interested in volunteering please send us an email at sdlc@persona.ca or call our office 705-674-1223.
The site for the Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op has been archived and will no longer be updated. Please visit the main Media Co-op website to learn more about the organization.
The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
